Nephrologist needed in Wytheville, Virginia.

Group consists of 4 physicians; Wytheville location will be 1 physician, 1 nurse, 1 receptionist.

Community Hospital l(100 beds).

Office hours & Schedule:  Monday- Friday. 

Call: 1:3 (10 days).

New Service Line – Growth potential.

This is an independent, physician-owned practice that has been serving the New River Valley families for more than 12 years.

Due to a strong community need, we are seeking  a desirable full time nephrologist with a passion for caring for patients.  

The group practice will consist of  3 physicians with the desired candidate working in only the Wytheville market full time.  

The office space is located adjacent to the hospital for easy access to see inpatients on consultation.  

This is a new service line for the hospital  with tremendous growth potential.  

The physician will be expected to see 20-25 patients per day as the business grows.   

Hospital is looking to venture into inpatient dialysis as the practice needs grow.  

Medical Directorship opportunities available. 

Competitive compensation (MGMA), with student loan repayment, stipend for last year residents/fellows, relocation assistance and sign on bonus for the appropriate candidate.  

Income guarantee from the hospital in the first year, with group employment rounding out years 2-4 (base salary).  

Benefits include medical malpractice coverage, professional licenses and fees, vacation , CME and Educational and Professional Society Meeting time. 

Both IP & OP as practice grows. 

Providers in the market average seeing 20-25 patients a day.  

The new physician should expect to see 15 initially and expect to grow to 20-25.
