--Seeking a full-time Internal Medicine faculty member for our Internal Medicine Residency program.
--It is a categorical three-year training program leading to certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
--The program is accredited by the ACGME
--Position will offer the opportunity to teach mainly in an inpatient and outpatient setting, while dividing the time approximately 50/50 between teaching and clinical responsibilities.
--The majority of your work will be in direct patient care and supervising residents while practicing in a collegial environment dedicated to providing quality patient care.
--Generally clinic hours are M-F, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
--For inpatient coverage, morning report is at 8 a.m., work rounds after for one of the teams usually done by 11 a.m.
--Pager call on inpatient service is by pager with an average of one call per night lasting from Monday a.m. to the following Monday a.m.
--Anticipate approximate call about 1 week in 4 and some of the call requirements are flexible.
--The candidate must be certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine
