The Medical Center's Healthy Living Center helps patients manage diabetes while the Dialysis Access Institute, led by renowned surgeon kidney disease patients with life-saving access procedures.
The healthcare system includes eight Primary Care
practices in Orangeburg, Calhoun and Bamberg counties; two Urgent Care
practices with physician, lab and X-Ray; specialty practices in Cardiology,
General and Vascular Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Orthopaedics,
Urology, as well as Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology; and five
HEALTHPLEX Wellness and Fitness Centers.
The Opportunity- Internal Medicine/Family Practice
The incoming physicians will be employed by The Regional Medical Center to work outpatient only with no call. The Regional Medical Center operates eight primary practices throughout the area. Patients are seen by appointment, and all practices accept Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield and most private insurance plans.
Financial Package and Benefits:
Internal Medicine - income guarantee base salary. If not in market, 2 year guarantee. If in market, one year guarantee, plus upside earnings in wRVU model. Plus a sign on bonus and relocation assistance.
The incoming physicians will receive full benefits package including health insurance and a retirement plan.
Physicians will be given allowed time off which includes vacation, holidays, CME and sick leave.
CME and licensure, dues and subscriptions allowance
Medical Center is a governmental entity and we will provide medical malpractice coverage occurrence base $1M - $3M.
