Internal Medicine physician needed to start new solo practice with hospital income guarantee in Upstate New York near Ottawa Canada. Work Monday to Friday in the office. See 20 to 25 patients per day. There are seven other internists in the community that all share call so the new call will be 1 in 8. They also have a hospitalist group for support. Work out of one hospital with 130 beds and a serving area over 100000 people. 60 active physicians on staff. The position can be employed by the hospital or they will offer an income guarantee. The starting range is $215000 plus RVU bonuses. They also cover relocation and full benefits. The community has a population around 15000 and sits on the Canadian border. They have an airport in the community and is also located St Lawrence Seaway. It is a popular summer tourist destination and has tons of water and outdoor activities in all four seasons.
