Hospitalist LOCUM TENENS OPPORTUNITY in Central Montana •Need 1 Hospitalist Locum •Qualifications BC / BE IM or FP Hospitalist – must have hospitalist experience •Reason Patient census increasing( up from 13-14 pts per day to 17-18 per day) so need additional coverage · 2 hospitalists will be rounding so avg patients per provider will be( 7-10 patients per day) in 24hr period •Facility details: critical access hospital •Credentialing 2 weeks for emergency privileges LOCUM TENENS OPPORTUNITY in Central Montana (Registered Profile Required) OPPORTUNITY DETAILS • BC or BE IM/FP Physician comfortable with seeing geriatric population • See patients in the outpatient clinic from 8-5 MON to FRI and round on any patients that are admitted ( clinic is connected to inpatient unit) • Will work with a Nurse Practitioner ( MD’s do not have to sign off on NP’s in MT –Locum would need to be available to consult with the NP as needed) • Average patient census is 20 patients per day • Population is mostly geriatric ( 60+) • Call is 3 nights per month • Average calls received on nights on call is 1 call per night • All travel and housing expenses are covered on top of the competitive hourly rate and medical malpractice
