Internist Needed in Northern Michigan – Loan Repayment – Outdoor Paradise
Join two physicians and three advance practice providers in a busy IM office practice. Five-day work week-Monday-Friday flexible patient hours 8-5pm and extended hours available. Currently physicians enjoy a traditional practice with a mix of outpatient/inpatient medicine. All outpatient or all inpatient practice models will be considered. On call Internist is responsible for unassigned and IM patient admissions ED consults supervising inpatient stress testing and reading EKG’s. Duties also include rounding in our 5-bed step down ICU and collaboration with respiratory therapy for ventilator management. The general surgeons perform central line placements. Office is located in professional medical building attached to the hospital and utilizes Electronic Health Records. This is a hospital employed position with generous benefits including paid malpractice insurance and full family health along with a 2 year guaranteed salary and ability to convert to productivity-based incentive pay at any time.
