Primary Care Physician with a great Work Life Balance! The Primary Care Physician will be part of an integrated healthcare organization that provides health plans and comprehensive services to dual eligible (Medicare and Medicaid) patients at at outpatient clinic in downtown Detroit near Henry Ford Hospital. Leadership role of outpatient clinical care team under outstanding clinic and working conditions Low volume = longer visits and more time spent with each patient. A typical patient schedule of 10-12 patients in a full clinic day allowing for high-level of attention and care to each patient. 4.5 days in the clinic seeing patients with .5 day for administrative duties. Call responsibilities include taking call by phone (after clinic hours) for 1 week every 6 weeks. Strong salary and benefits package including relocation. Strong infrastructure to meet comprehensive medical and social needs Initial patient appointments will last approximately 60 minutes with follow ups approximately 30 minutes Mixed patient population, complex with multiple diagnoses, mainly dual eligible patients. (Medicare / Medicaid) This healthcare organization views their model as providing concierge medical services to the most disadvantaged population that are typically being poorly served by traditional fee-for-service medical systems.
