Join a large multi specialty group in the Lexington Kentucky area looking for an internal medicine physician. They have several sites around the Lexington area. The practice you will work in has 1 FP 1 Ped 2 IMs and a PA. You will work Monday - Friday/9am-5pm. Will see 25 patients per day. The weeknight call is 1 in 6 and there is no weekend call. Will be responsible for inpatient and outpatient work. The inpatient census is 2-6. The payer mix is 60% Medicaid/Medicare 25% private insurance and 15% sliding fee. Will not be responsible for any Critical Care work. The hospital has 25 beds. The population is 30000. Lexington is only 25 miles. This community has colleges and is known for being an 'artsy' area. Low cost of living. This is an employed position. The salary is $130000 plus incentives and full benefit package.
