Practice Details

Internal Medicine physician needed in the Sacramento California area. This position is 1 hour North of Sacramento. The population is 6000. You will work with 1 other primary care physician Family Practice Nurse Practitioner and a Physician Assistant. You will do inpatient and outpatient work. In the clinic you will see 7.4 acute and 3.5 skilled nursing home patients daily. The average inpatient load is between 2-3. Procedures are rare but are required in a case of an emergency. They need the physician to do central lines and intubation. Usually the ER doc surgeon or Anesthetist will do them. You will work a 4/10 hour day or can do a 5/8 hour day.  You will take call one weekend a month (Friday evening-Monday morning. The clinic hours are 8-5pm/M-F except holidays. They are offering a very competitive salary bonuses and full benefits.
