Job Description:
Our client is looking for an Internal Medicine Physician to fill a permanent position in Southern California. The Physician will provide continuing, comprehensive health wellness, preventative and medical care to families regardless of sex or type of problem. Essential duties include: manage and maintain a program of comprehensive health for the patients, prepare and review medical histories, examine patients, formulate diagnostic plans, define and order required diagnostic testing, determine need for consultation, provide supportive and definitive care to patients, mange primary care services, formulates plans and procedures for outpatient services, responsible for coordinating medical care with internal and external specialties as needed, ability to supervise and train clinical professionals and students, and ability to participate in rotation. Expectations of all employees: adhere to all policies and procedures, conduct self in a manner that represents core values, maintain a positive and respectful attitude with all work-related contacts, communicate regularly with her/his immediate supervisor about concerns, consistently report to work prepared for all duties, and meets productivity standards as necessary. Qualifications:
A Doctor of Medicine or a Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an approved school. Completion of a residency in Internal Medicine acceptable to the State of California for licensure or board certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
