Matrix Providers is hiring a Physician - Internist to join our team of talented professionals who provide healthcare services to our Military Service Members and their families in San Diego, CA.

• Employment Status: Full-Time, Independent Contractor
• Compensation: Hourly rate of $190.67.

• Schedule: Monday - Friday - NO WEEKENDS, NO ON-CALL.
• Requirements: The Physician must have and meet the following:
• Degree: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.).
• Education: Graduate from an accredited medical school in the United States or Canada.
• Certification: Board-eligible or board certified as required in the TO.
• Internship/Residency: Successful completion of an internship and residency program (corresponding to the specialty required in the TO), which the Accreditation Council has approved for Graduate Medical Education or the Committee on Postdoctoral Training of the American Osteopathic Association. 
• Experience: As required to demonstrate clinical competency within the past two years.
• Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine.

Core Duties:

• Perform a full range of physician services by privileges granted by the MTF.
• Direct, perform or assist in instructing other health care professionals within the scope of the clinical privileges or responsibilities.
• Examine, diagnose, treat, or prescribe courses of treatment within the scope of training, experience, and privileges.
• Provide preventive and health maintenance care, including annual physicals, positive health behaviors, and self-care skills through education and counseling.
• Order diagnostic tests as requested, consultation, or referral with appropriate physicians, clinics, or other health resources as indicated.
