This Birmingham Health System is seeking a Board Certified/board eligible Internal Medicine physician to join a well-known and established outpatient practice
· 4 physicians, all Internists, and 2 NPs
· Replacing an Internist who is taking a non-clinical position
· The above physician has a full practice and has not taken any new patients in 6 years
· Physician leaving sees 20 min appointments all day. He has 18 – 19 slots per day plus walk-ins. He sees 18 – 25 patients per day. (Not required of new grad.)
· Primary care position: prefer IM, either experienced or new grad, will also take FM
· Physician must have an established work ethic
· Will take a DO
· Clinic is in the middle of Homewood, the #1 school district in the State of AL
· Practice is 25 years’ old
· Highly regarded and well-known practice

· CLIA waived testing in lab
· In office procedures: bone density, EKG, pulmonary function, lavages, injectables
· Practice 85% Medicare
· Typical day starts at 8 a.m. Last patient at 3:20 and finish at 3:40- 4:30 depending on labs, walk-ins and procedures.
