Practice Details

Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist. Job duties include: responsibility over the Special Care Nursery (Level IIB), newborn care, attendance at high risk deliveries, inpatient pediatric care, emergency department consults, and limited outpatient medical consults. Candidates must be comfortable with management of infants born at 32 weeks and above and managing CPAP, Surfactant and ventilator care. Hospitalists work seven to eight 24-hour in-house shifts per month, managing an average daily census of 12 which include an average of 2 ped inpatients, 6 well newborns and 4 special care patients.
