An Award-Winning Health System is searching for a Division Chief of Pediatric Hospital Medicine to join Children’s Hospital in Springfield MA.

- Opportunity to provide leadership to our well-established team of 7 hospitalists which seeks to continually improve our regional and national recognition as well as academic achievement.
- Ability to promote scholarship including clinical QI and outcomes-based research and to provide scholarly mentorship to the team.
- Combination of clinical care and resident / medical student teaching with faculty appointments to both Tufts University School of Medicine and the University of Massachusetts.
- Potential to serve as the pediatric clerkship director for Tufts and UMass students is available for those interested in a clinical educator career.
- Manage a diverse population of pediatric inpatients in our 53-bed general pediatric and adolescent wards with support of our top-notch onsite specialists. All patients are resident covered. We do not provide newborn nursery or PICU coverage.
Seeking candidates with 5+ years of experience in academic pediatric hospital medicine. Ability to demonstrate leadership skills is important. Global health interest and/ or national committee involvement is welcome.
