OB/GYN Hospitalist –Join a Leading Healthcare Provider in the San Francisco Bay Area

A top-tier healthcare provider serving Napa and Solano Counties is actively recruiting a Board Eligible/Board Certified OB/GYN Hospitalist to join their esteemed team. Located in Vallejo, CA, this 154-bed community hospital is renowned for its experienced medical staff, compassionate care, and advanced perinatal services—including a Level III NICU staffed with Board-Certified Neonatologists.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative and rewarding environment where over 1,000 babies are delivered annually, and every birth is treated as a uniquely special event.

Position Highlights:

• Flexible Scheduling: Full-Time
• Call Schedule: 24-hour in-house
• Supportive Team: Work alongside a collaborative group of OB/GYNs and Advanced Practice Providers
• EMR: Cerner
• Volume: Approx. 135 births/month (shared between two physicians per shift)

Facility Snapshot:

• 150-bed community hospital
• 8-bed labor unit
• 13-bed postpartum unit
• 16-bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
• Designated Baby-Friendly Hospital

Candidate Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active California medical license (or eligibility)
• BLS and ACLS required; NRP preferred
• Strong surgical and clinical skills in obstetrics and gynecology
• Recent graduates and experienced OB/GYNs are encouraged to apply

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive Total Compensation: $259,000 – $480,000
