Multi-Specialty Group Hospitalist: Internal Medicine Job in Bristol, Virginia
This hospitalist position in internal medicine, based in Bristol, Virginia, is offered as a multi-specialty group arrangement, one of several practice structures under which this role is available. Position Offers:
- 7 days on/off schedule
- Exceptional Compensation - 15 shifts per month.
- Up to add'l $25K per year in quality/service bonus paid quarterly
- If you work optional additional shifts they are paid at $1,400 for 24 hr shift
- Work from 8 a.m - 8 pm
- Nurse Practitioner Provides Night time coverage
- If there is an ICU admission, the ED physician will call directly to discuss the case and then physician will determine if he/she will need to come in and/or follow up by phone with the N P.
- In case of emergent need physician is expected to come into the facility at night and must be within 20 min. of hospital.
- Airway Management is a requirement
- Avg Census is 12 patients
- Specialty consults are available
- Procedures required are Intubations, airway passage, respond to codes, & thoracentesis
