Single-Specialty Group Hospitalist: Internal Medicine Job in Staten Island, New York
This hospitalist role in internal medicine is offered as a single-specialty group arrangement, one of several structures under which this position is available (it is also offered through a multi-specialty group and as direct hospital/clinic/MSO employment). In this format, you would join a practice of physicians within your own specialty, working within established clinical, staffing, and billing infrastructure rather than building these from scratch.
The role is structured as straight employment or as an employment agreement with a production bonus. There is no emergency department call associated with this position. Call coverage within the group setting is typically shared among the group's physicians, which can reduce individual administrative and coverage burden compared to solo practice.
The position is open to physicians who are board certified or board eligible, trained through allopathic or osteopathic pathways, and includes graduates of both U.S. and international medical schools. Located in one of New York's boroughs, this teaching hospital has a large practice and offers your choice of a Monday through Friday schedule or a block 7 on, 7 off schedule. Nocturnist Program is in place so few if any nights. Attainable and lucrative incentive package along with a base salary commensurate with experience will be offered.
