This hospitalist opportunity in Internal Medicine, based in Elmira, New York, is offered as a hospital/clinic-employed position. In this arrangement, you would join as a W-2 employee, with the employer administering your compensation, benefits, malpractice coverage, and scheduling, along with the clinical facility and referral infrastructure. This structure is designed to minimize business and administrative responsibilities so you can focus on clinical care.
Compensation for this permanent role is structured through an income guarantee and an employment agreement with a production bonus, with the financial offering listed in the $250,000–$274,999 range. Close to a regional airport for flights. • Facility: Community Hospital, Regional Health System. • Facility Profile: All services, including EM, cardiology, surgery, ENT, FM, IM, neurology, oncology, etc. • Beds: 220-beds. 20-ICU beds. • Trauma: N/A • ADC: 15 - 18 patients main hospital or you can exclusively work sister hospital at 8 – 10 patients. • Support Staff: NP/PA’s, RN’s, Tech’s, sub-specialty back-up support, typical of a community hospital. • BC in IM or FM w/inpatient rounding experience. FM candidates accepted at sister hospital. • MD or DO. • EMR: TBD. • Procedures: Not required, but Codes are. Full back-up support available. • Open ICU. • Schedule: 7on/7off, 7a – 7p, 3p – 3a. Also hiring a Nocturnist for 7p – 7a. • Perm Compensation: To be fully negotiated. New comp package to include base plus outstanding RVU.
