We are seeking Internal Medicine Hospitalist Physicians for one of Maryland’s trusted healthcare partners in the Montgomery County area. Conveniently situated approximately 25 miles north of Washington, D.C., they offer easy access to care, dedication to advancing health through learning and continuously applying new knowledge and are committed to the community. Details, Responsibilities, & Shifts:

•Admitter: 9a-9p 

•Night shifts: 7p-7a

•Rounder: 7a-7p

Day - admitter or rounding shift:

•Average daily census is approximately15.  A bit higher on weekends on average 17-18.

•Perform Internal Medicine consults and admissions for the Client’s hospitalist service

•Provide cross-coverage services to patients cared for by the Client

•No codes for rounding or admit shifts

Night shift:

•8-10 admits and consults/night

•Perform Internal Medicine consults and admissions for the Client’s hospitalist service

•Provide cross-coverage services to patients cared for by the Client

•Nights shift hospitalist run Rapid response and codes

Compensation:

•Competitive hourly rate

•Malpractice insurance provided, plus tail

•Travel: Standard IRS mileage will be paid if traveling more than 40 miles each way to the hospital. Hotel: If an overnight stay is required, hotel accommodations will be provided.

Requirements:
• Must be BC in Internal Medicine
• Active MD state license, DEA number, and MD CDS

• Location of Medical Training: American Medical Graduate (AMG), Foreign Medical Graduate (FMG)
• Medical Training Type: Allopathic (MD), Osteopathic (DO)
