Hospital / Clinic Employed Hospitalist: Internal Medicine Job in Lewiston, Idaho
This Internal Medicine hospitalist position in Lewiston, Idaho is offered as a hospital/clinic-employed arrangement. We currently employ a five person hospitalist team. In recognizing both growth and preferred scheduling models we are now looking at adding another 3 physicians to our medical group on the hospitalist team. We have open ICU with nine beds and 11 bed step down unit called Progressive Care; these departments are primarily managed by our Hospitalist team. We do not have Intensivists on staff. We do have Emergency Medicine, Anestesia, Radiology, and Respiratory Therapists for back-up if needed. Physicians are involved in 14-17 encounters per shift (rounding/admitting); this includes 3-9 admits during the day and 2-8 admits during the night. Shifts are 12 hours. 7 on /7 off.
