Practice Details

A large hospitalist group west of Atlanta is looking for additional inpatient physicians. This group has been growing continuously since their inception over seven years ago and high patient volumes at three local facilities has brought about a need for a tenth hospitalist. You will work a 7on/7off shift model schedule working both days and nights. The group admits to three facilities all within 15 miles of each other and you will only work out of one hospital each week that you are on schedule. The average inpatient census varies and the night census is very manageable. No need for procedures as the hospital has a full compliment for proceduralist who can be consulted for the patient. The hospitalist will do some ICU and one of the shifts is straight ICU. The Hospitalist along with the ED docs are responsible for the codes.  Basically who ever shows up 1st runs the codes. The hospitalist group offers excellent compensation along with bonuses malpractice coverage relocation allowance and full benefits including: health-dental-life-401k with 5% match-paid vacation- and tuition reimbursement.
