Are you an IM or FP physician looking for a nocturnist role with a predictable schedule, real teamwork, and top-tier compensation? We are seeking two excellent communicators to join a well-established hospitalist group serving a level 1 trauma hospital, about one hour from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The group is physician-led, privately owned, and for-profit. It has been stable and serving the community for 40 years. The schedule is a blocked 7-on/7-off nights rotation, 182 shifts per year, so you get a full week off after every week on. Compensation is a non-negotiable $1,924 per shift, which comes to roughly $350K annually. A quality bonus of up to $20K ($5K per quarter when all metrics are met at 100%) brings the total potential to about $370K. You will never be on your own. You will work as one of four or five providers on each night, with an average of eight admissions per shift. There are no codes, no RRT, and no procedures required. The ICU is a closed model with subspecialty support, so you can focus on high-quality hospital medicine and strong communication with patients, families, and colleagues. Graduating 2027 IM/FM residents are welcome to apply. We are unable to accept J1 visas at this time. Macon is an easy place to call home. Located in the heart of Georgia, it offers a low cost of living, so your income goes much further than it would in Atlanta, along with short commutes and no big-city traffic. You are still only an hour from Atlanta's airport, restaurants, sports, and nightlife, which makes weeks off easy to enjoy at home or on the road. Macon has a rich history and culture, including its music heritage tied to the Allman Brothers Band, Otis Redding, and Little Richard, and the ancient Ocmulgee Mounds. The city blooms every spring during the Cherry Blossom Festival, which draws visitors from across the country. Residents enjoy outdoor recreation at Lake Tobesofkee and the city's riverfront parks, along with historic neighborhoods, a growing downtown, and the energy of Mercer University. Interested?
