Independent community hospital located on the beautiful North Coast of California (80 miles south of Oregon border) is seeking a full time (minimum of 15 shifts per month) Hospitalist. Two Hospitalists are always on duty one on-call after hours. (Most 24 hour shifts.) The Hospitalist assists with admissions and discharges. Telemedicine available. We offer a flexible work schedule moderate patient load competitive income and malpractice insurance. We are known for our strong collegial relationship among staff physicians and Administration. For candidates who would like to relocate to our area we offer a relocation package.
Candidates must be California licensed and either board certified or in the certification process with their specialty in Family Practice or Internal Medicine. Schedule is 7 day blocks with 3 month blocks done in advance for ease of provider planning outside of the work schedule. Discharges average three per hospitalist daily. Late night admissions are done through the ER with Hospitalist consult if needed.
