GI Specialty Group Seeks BC GI Physician Expanding Practice Knoxville

Regional Healthcare leader in Knoxville, is recruiting a gastroenterologist on behalf of a large private practice. Group seeks a fourth GI to join thriving and expanding practice that has served the community for over 40 years. Practice is conveniently located on regional medical center’s campus. Outpatient-focused practice with rounding and consults for only practice patients. A separate group handles inpatient call. Call for the practice is one week at a time with consultations averaging 2-5 per week and there is full time support of 2 nurse practitioners. ERCP is preferred, but not required. Average wait times for patients are 6 weeks. There is immediate volume with established and robust referral network. The medical center is a tertiary regional referral center for stroke, neurosurgery, orthopedics, GI, oncology, cardiology, neurology, surgery and obstetrics. Position comes with competitive compensation and benefit packages, sign on and relocation bonus and robust benefit package. There is no state income tax, so earnings go farther.
