About This Solo / Independent Practice Opportunity

This Gastroenterology opportunity in Fargo, North Dakota is offered as a solo/independent practice arrangement, one of several practice structures under which this position is available (also offered as part of a single-specialty group, multi-specialty group, or hospital/clinic/MSO-employed setup). In a solo or independent practice, you own and run the practice rather than being employed: you bill under your own name, build your own patient panel, and control staffing, scheduling, and practice style. This path typically comes with start-up support such as an income guarantee, offering the highest degree of autonomy along with the financial upside — and responsibilities — of ownership.

The financial offering for this listing is noted as Open, with financial structures including income guarantee, straight employment, an employment agreement with production bonus, or contract, depending on how the arrangement is finalized. Emergency department call follows a 1:4 rotation.

Candidates may be board certified or board eligible, trained through allopathic or osteopathic pathways, and either American or foreign medical graduates. The role is open to a range of experience levels, from those currently in training to very experienced physicians, and to candidates with US citizenship, a green card, or J-1 visa status.
