Solo / Independent Practice Gastroenterology Job in Farmington, New Mexico

San Juan Endoscopy - Join two GIs, 2 FPs, and an internist is an ambulatory surgical/endoscopy center. One of the GIs will retire the end of April so the new GI will walk into a full practice. Candidates must be BC in IM and BC or Board Active in Gastroenterology. ERCP required, EUS desirable. Hours are 7:30am to last case, M-F. Visa candidates are encouraged to apply.
The candidate has the options of permanent employee status. or can start as an employee and migrate to private practice when deemed advantageous by the candidate, or start in private practice with or without 2 year income guarantee.
When or if in private practice the candidate buy into the Center partnership.
As an employee base compensation is $500 K per year with a productivity bonus, along with full participation in all the other benefits of the Center (health care insurance, etc.) In private practice there is an income guarantee for two years. In either case there is a moving expense allowance and a sign on bonus. A practicing GI can expect to have an income of about $650,000 - $750,000 per year doing around 2000 cases.
