Single-Specialty Group Gastroenterology Job in Dover, Delaware
This gastroenterology position in Dover, Delaware is offered as a single-specialty group arrangement. You would join an established practice of physicians within your own specialty, where clinical infrastructure, staffing, billing, and administrative functions are already in place. Call is typically shared among the group's physicians, and this role includes a patient call rotation of 1:5, along with an emergency department call rotation of 1:5.

A two physician Gastroenterology practice in Delaware is looking to add a third due to continued growth in the market. The individual joining the practice could expect to be busy from the onset. The practice works out of one office, an adjacent state of the art endoscopy center and one Hospital less than a mile from the office. It is a busy practice but one that also focuses on lifestyle and family so the work schedule is somewhat relaxed. They spend approximately 3 days a week seeing patients in the office (usually done by a reasonable hour) and two days a week at the Endoscopy Center. They perform primarily upper endoscopies, colonoscopies and a number of additional bread and butter type cases. They are focused on providing quality care to their patients. Call with the addition of a new associate would go to 1:4 during the week and 1:5 on weekends.
