This Family Practice (w/OB) position in Ashland, Wisconsin is offered as a solo/independent practice arrangement, one of several practice structures under which this role is available, including single-specialty group, multi-specialty group, and hospital/clinic/MSO employment. In the solo/independent model, you would own and run your own practice rather than being employed — billing in your own name, building your own patient panel, and controlling staffing, scheduling, and practice style. This structure offers a high degree of autonomy along with the direct financial upside of practice ownership, in exchange for taking on the administrative and business responsibilities yourself.

Candidates may be Board Certified or Board Eligible, trained in allopathic or osteopathic programs, and either American or foreign medical graduates. Experience levels ranging from currently in training through very experienced are considered, and applicants may hold US citizenship or a Green Card.

The Essentia Primary Care
Physician works as a leader of a Care Team. Utilizing Essentia Care Processes,
the physician works collaboratively with other health care team members to
achieve patient care objectives and to provide continuity of care for patients
and families.

shared with 1 partner and supported by sourced locums physician group.
• Opportunity to participate in community
C-section call (if desired).
• Clinic practice is state-of-the-art new
medical clinic attached to Ashland Hospital and NW Wisconsin Cancer
Center.
• Procedural’s training welcomed and supported
(scopes, procedures, surgical).
• Strong domiciled clinic partners (Orthopedics,
Surgery, Pediatrics, Cardiology, Radiology, Endocrinology, Internal Medicine,
Family Medicine and Sports Trainer) and outreach from Essentia Health Duluth
(Nephrology, Pulmonary, Neurology, Urology, Rheumatology, Gynecology,
Orthotics, Sleep Study).
• RN based Anti Coag, Diabetes, CDM,
Hypertension, Nail Care, Complex Care Management and Asthma programs on site
daily.
• 24/7 RN based telephone call coverage,
high-complexity laboratory, state-of-the-art radiology on site.
• Opportunity to precept at the Duluth Family
Practice Residency in rotation, or on site with ongoing hospital collaboration
with various medical residency programs.
