The Essentia Primary Care Physician works as a leader of a Care Team. Utilizing Essentia Care Processes, the physician works collaboratively with other health care team members to achieve patient care objectives and to provide continuity of care for patients and families.

•Newer clinic with state-of-the-art technology, attached to St. Mary's Hospital-Superior 
•Weekend clinic call is 1:7. Weeknight call 1:6 
•Multi-specialty group that consists of FP, IM, Pediatric Physicians and NP/PA’s along with1 Psychotherapist 
•Over 20 outreach specialists including Ophthalmology, ENT, Audiology OBGYN, General Surgery, Weight Management, Diabetes, Nephrology, Pain Management, Orthopedic, Podiatry, Cardiology, Tobacco Cessation, Mediation Therapy Management, Gastroenterology, Vascular Surgery, Urology, and Behavioral Health all on-site as well as others available at the main campus in Duluth 
•Nurse-on-line triage 24/7 
•EPIC (electronic medical records) in clinic and hospital 
•Admit to St. Mary's Hospital-Superior, a 25-bed CAH facility with transitional care services. ER physicians staff the ED, along with a PA who staffs the Fast Track ER. Transfers complex cases to St. Mary's Medical Center, 330 bed facility (7 miles from clinic) 
•Physician led, professionally managed organization with great team environment
