19 bed critical access hospital in Northeast Montana is seeking to add another family practice physician for their clinic. They currently have 2 family practice physicians on staff for a community of 2000 and county of 4500. Work 9:00 to 4:30 in the office seeing 17 patients per day and share in a night and weekend hospital call schedule of 1 in 4. They staff the ER with nurse practitioners and physician assistants. The hospital inpatient census average is 7 patients and the average length of stay is 3 days. There is also a 78 bed nursing home attached to the hospital and the new physician would be expected to be the medical director. The hospital is offering a $190000 base salary plus bonuses sign on bonus loan repayment relocation 6 month temporary housing malpractice and excellent benefits. The community borders North Dakota and Canada and is experiencing population growth due to the oil industry. They are a rural family community with abundant wildlife modern schools several parks and recreation facilities affordable housing restaurants shopping and more.
