Family Practice with OB & C-sections physician needed to join growing practice in beautiful Upper Peninsula Michigan. Work Monday to Friday in the office and share in a 1 in 3 call schedule. They average 165 births/year. Work at one hospital with 25 beds 3 of which are the OB unit and 4 surgical suites. Average inpatient census is 10. This is an employed position with a multi-specialty group. Excellent compensation and full benefits. Loan reimbursement available through NHSC. The area has about 17000 residents and is located 15 miles from Lake Superior. Numerous festivities are held throughout the year and various entertainments at the downtown historical theatre. Hiking can be enjoyed at any of the numerous parks. The area offers and abundance of fishing hunting camping biking alpine and Nordic skiing snowmobiling canoeing/kayaking and golfing. The area has 4 local public school systems and several parochial schools where the students benefit from a low student/teacher ration. There is also a Community College. Two community theaters as well as a large civic arena provide opportunities for enjoyment. The local area offers a wonderful small town lifestyle with many four season recreational activities
