Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Family Medicine Physician to fill a permanent or locum position at a Federally Qualified Health Center. The physician will provide the full scope of primary care services, including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. The physician is familiar with the philosophy, goals and objectives of the center and works collaboratively to achieve them. The physician must be cognizant of, and comply with, all center policies and procedures, as well as pertinent state and federal regulations. Some responsibilities of this position include: provide medical patient care, educate patients on wellness, prevention, and early detection, determine which referrals are required and level of urgency, prescribe medical treatment and clinical drugs, document all services in patient medical records, and maintain confidentiality of all patient information. Qualifications:
Board Eligible or Board Certified. Valid California MD or DO license. Two years of experience. Current DEA and DPS certificate. Current ACLS.
