General Practitioners now have the opportunity to experience the Land of the Long White Cloud in all its crashing glory. Waves crash against beaches. Beaches crash against mountains. Mountains crash against sky. Explore it all: everywhere from Cape Reinga to Milford Sound. A new General Practice position has opened up at the tip of the North Island. You'll work M-F, 8a-5p with 1:8 call. You'll see 20-30 patients per day. Your typical week will be two days of regular GP duties, then three days at an outreach clinic in the morning, then back at the main clinic in the afternoon. If you have experience in acute care procedures then that's a plus, but not required. A minimum one-year commitment is preferred but we know you'll love it so much you'll want to stay longer.
