- Seeking a Family Practice Physician
- Full time faculty position for a FP Residency Program
- A typical work week is M-F 8:30am – 5pm.
- The office (where patients are seen) is open M-F 8:30am – 5pm as well as Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6pm-8pm and some Saturdays.
- Faculty sees patients in the office 2 half days a week (4 hours each)
- See approximately 8-10 patients per session
- Faculty takes weekday call from home approximately 3-4 times per month and precept evening sessions (6pm-8pm) 2-3 times per month.
- Weekend call occurs approx. 8 times per year. (When a faculty is assigned to weekend call they round in the hospital (inpatient) Tuesday to Monday (7 days including weekends) and take call Friday Saturday and Sunday evenings. Again this happens around 8 times per year.)
- When not assigned to rounding or office hours faculty are usually assigned to precepting nursing home/home visits lectures or have administrative time.
