Family Medicine Medical Director opportunity for nonprofit clinic within the Phoenixville community, located in downtown Phoenixville approximately 1 mile from Phoenixville Hospital. The Medical Director would potentially work at The Clinic from Monday to Friday with no night or weekend call. No clinic services are offered in the evenings or on weekends. Potential patient load of 20-25 patients with limited administrative duties. Preferred candidate will be BC/BE and replace retiring physician. There are currently physicians and professionals spanning 15 different specialties at The Clinic. The Medical Director is responsible for direct care of patients, holds thesenior medical administrative position, reports to the Executive Director, and is in charge of cost management, utilization review, quality assurance, and medical protocol development. Although the Medical Director must work independently to fulfill the responsibilities of the job, he/she must also work on a daily basis in a teamwork spirit with the Executive Director and the clinic team, in the best interests of The Clinic and its mission. Phoenixville is located just 28 miles west of Philadelphia, PA and provides the amenities and the lifestyle of a suburb with easy access to Philadelphia city center, New York City (110 miles) and Washington DC (140 miles).
