Seeking Family Medicine Physician to provide care for patients including evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of patients in the clinic, hospital, and in-patient setting. The duties of this position are to provide primary care services for patients including the evaluation, diagnoses and monitoring of patient illnesses. Family medicine physicians may also admit patients, conduct rounds and discharge hospital patients. They also prescribe medication for sick patients, monitor their recovery and read and interpret patient charts. The duties performed by an Family Medicine Physician also include interviewing new patients, preparing new patients for treatment,preparing an outline for patient treatment and management, preparing and reviewing patient charts. Family Medicine Physicians may also visit, counsel and
attend to patients admitted to the hospital on a daily basis, monitor the condition of such patients and recommend potential diagnoses. After patients are discharged, Family Medicine Physicians engage in follow-up activities with such patients, including monitoring their recovery and any developments in their condition after discharge. Candidates must hold a valid degree in medicine, must have completed three years of an accredited medical residency program in Family Medicine within the United States, must possess an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Michigan, and be board eligible.
