Position: Primary Care Provider

 

Location: Rural Community (45 minutes from the Quad Cities), near IL/IA border

 

Job Description:

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join our team as a Primary Care Provider in our Rural Health Clinic located in a charming rural community conveniently situated just 45 minutes from a major urban area. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team of 2 Physicians and 6 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Provide high-quality primary care services to patients in a rural clinic setting.

·         Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated patient care.

·         Participate in a call rotation schedule of 1:6 to provide coverage for the clinic, hospital, and long-term care facilities.

·         Utilize on-site lab and X-ray facilities adjacent to the hospital for diagnostic purposes.

·         Demonstrate commitment to continuous professional development through participation in educational opportunities and staying updated with the latest medical advancements.

·         Full-Time

 

Qualifications:

·         Medical degree from an accredited medical school.

·         Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

·         Valid medical license to practice in the state of Illinois (or ability to obtain).

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
