Emergency Medicine Physician

Our client in Eastern Texas is currently looking for locum tenens Emergency Medicine Physician to join their existing staff.

Responsibilities:

• Working primarily in emergency rooms, Emergency Medicine Physicians (locum tenens) are tasked with making high stakes life management decisions in times of immediate crisis.
• EM Physicians regularly deal with complex trauma and exotic conditions, and are highly trained in the stabilization and treatment of a wide range of both adult and pediatric injuries and illnesses.

Requirements:

• BC in EM, IM, or FP
• ATLS & ACLS required

Practice Details:

• Coverage Date: October
• 24-hour Physician coverage, 12 or 24-hour shifts.
• Schedule: 7a-7p & 7p-7a or 7a-7a.
• 8% of hospital admissions come from the ER
• Codes required
• Providers will do procedures

• Location of Medical Training: American Medical Graduate (AMG), Foreign Medical Graduate (FMG)
• Medical Training Type: Allopathic (MD), Osteopathic (DO)
