Emergency Medicine Physician

Our client in Northeast Missouri is currently looking for locum tenens Emergency Medicine Physician to work 10-14 shifts per month.

Responsibilities:

• Working primarily in emergency rooms, Emergency Medicine Physicians (locum tenens) are tasked with making high stakes life management decisions in times of immediate crisis. 
• EM Physicians regularly deal with complex trauma and exotic conditions, and are highly trained in the stabilization and treatment of a wide range of both adult and pediatric injuries and illnesses.

Requirements:

• BE/BC EM, FP, IM. If FP/IM, must have ER experience.
• ACLS, ATLS, PALS certifications required
• Needs to be clean and be able to work fair share, days & nights

Practice Details:

• 24 hours Physician coverage: 7a-7p and 7p-7a
• Encounters on days and nights: 13.5K annually at 1.48 per hour
• 10% admission per shift
• Codes required
• Providers will do procedures
• Scribe Coverage
