Director of Emergency Medicine  Biddeford, ME cw

 We are looking for an excellent ER physician to become the Director of Emergency Medicine for a two-campus healthcare system in desirable southern Maine, between Portland and Boston. You will oversee ER services for a 150-bed medical center in the coastal community of Biddeford, and a 58-bed community hospital in Sanford, 30 minutes west, near the New Hampshire border. This award-winning, nonprofit medical center employs more than 120 physicians in 20 offices across the region. They are financially strong, and part of the largest healthcare system in Maine. We are looking for a motivated, hands-on leader to collaborate with the clinical staff and senior management to assure the highest quality of care for patients in the ED. Your focus will be on administration and leadership for 24 hours/week, and you will spend 50+ hours each month in clinical practice.
