***$50,000 sign-on bonus available*** Hutchinson Regional Medical Center (HRMC) is a 199 bed hospital located in Hutchinson, KS and is a Level III trauma center. It is currently undergoing a remodel to increase the size of the ED from 10 beds to 19 beds. HRMC is Joint Commission accredited, has an Emergent Stroke Ready designation, and Health Grades top award for Patient Safety in 2012 and 2013. Physicians work 12 hour shifts (7a-7p/7p-7a) and there are 12 hours of AHP coverage per day. The hospital provides a full range of medical services, including: Inpatient Acute Rehab Unit Heart & Vascular Center Skilled Nursing Until The Women’s and Children’s Center Chalmers Cancer Center Sleep Diagnostic Center Wound Care Center Requirements: Kansas Medical License DEA license with Kansas registration Current ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certification --AND-- ABEM/AOBEM/BCEM Boarded or Eligible (if eligible, must be within 5 years of residency) --OR-- Boarded in a Primary Care specialty with EM experience. Must have seen at least 100 EM patients in the past 12 months.
