Emergency Medicine Physician

Our client in Central Georgia is currently looking for locums Emergency Medicine Physician to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Working primarily in emergency rooms, Emergency Medicine Physicians (locum tenens) are tasked with making high stakes life management decisions in times of immediate crisis.
• EM Physicians regularly deal with complex trauma and exotic conditions, and are highly trained in the stabilization and treatment of a wide range of both adult and pediatric injuries and illnesses.

Requirements:

• BC in EM, IM OR FP  with residency completion
• ATLS, ACLS, PALS required

Practice Details:

• Coverage Date: November going forward
• Shift Coverage:
  • 29 hours physician coverage
  • 24 hours advanced practitioner coverage
• Shift Times (no 24-hour shifts):
  • AM Shift: 7a-5p
  • Day Shift: 3p-12a
  • Night Shift: 9p-7a
• Codes are required
• Provider will do procedures
• Has seasoned nursing staff and well trained supporting physician specialists in the area
• No Scribes

• Hourly Pay Rate: Open
