Emergency Medicine Physician

Our client in Northeast Arkansas is currently seeking locum tenens Emergency Medicine Physicians to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Working primarily in emergency rooms, Emergency Medicine Physicians (locum tenens) are tasked with making high stakes life management decisions in times of immediate crisis.
• EM Physicians regularly deal with complex trauma and exotic conditions, and are highly trained in the stabilization and treatment of a wide range of both adult and pediatric injuries and illnesses.

Requirements:

• BC/BE in EM, IM or FP
• ACLS, ATLS & PALS required

Practice Details:

• Coverage Date: May, ongoing
• Single physician coverage
  • 12-hour shifts   
  • Will allow 24-hour shifts 
  • 7a-7p/7p-7a
• 10 shifts per month
• Patient encounters - 1.5 patients/hour
• Codes are required
• Providers will do procedures
• MLP coverage 10 hrs/day
• No Scribes

• Hourly Pay Rate: Open
