Employed Experienced Dermatologists Trained in Dermatopathology Eastern NC 1 Hour from Raleigh
Large and highly specialized multispecialty group, is recruiting dermatologists trained in dermatopathology to join their busy and established practice. Position is open to candidates with 2 + years post training experienced. Employed position with hospital privileges at 900 bed tertiary referral center with division that includes 4 experienced surgical pathologists that are involved in training of medical students, residents and fellows. Hospital provides acute, intermediate, inpatient and outpatient services to a 29 county region of more than 1.4 million people. Program includes surgical pathology, cytopathology and forensic pathology. Candidate should be experienced in actively reading and signing out and comfortable with shared call to support frozen section needs. You will participate in tumor boards and present in multidisciplinary accredited cancer program. Approximately 30,000 surgical and 7,000 cytology cases including 1,300 fine need aspirates are accessioned into the department annually.
