Practice Details

Critical Care/Intensivist position with 7on/7off block scheduling. Employed position. Join a growing Intensivist Program in Westchester County seeking a Critical Care physician for immediate hire. Block schedule working days only, from 7am to 7pm. Hospitalists cover nights from 7pm to 7am. Average volume is 10 to 12 patients per day. Compensation is a base salary of $240,000 plus quarterly incentives worth an additional $20,000 per year. Quality bonuses based on core measures, patient satisfaction, and length of stay. Comprehensive benefits package including paid malpractice. 7 shifts off for paid vacation / CME. Highly regarded not-for-profit hospital with excellent inpatient care in both medical and surgical units, a busy maternity unit, an intensive care unit, and a progressive care unit. The hospital’s service area is primarily Westchester County, but they also attract patients from Dutchess, Putnam, Rockland, and Orange Counties. Excellent housing and schools can be found throughout the area, all within easy access to New York City, the Catskills and the Berkshires. The area is also home to many fine Universities and Colleges with ongoing cultural and educational opportunities. Located less than 60 miles from Manhattan, commutable from southern Connecticut, northern New Jersey, the Hudson Valley region, or from NYC by auto or railway.
