Cardiology group in Knoxville, is seeking a non-invasive cardiologist to join their very busy practice. The group is a leader in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac-related health issues. This multi-physician group of expert cardiologists, interventional cardiologists and electrophysiologists have served Knoxville and East Tennessee for more than 35 years. Group is affiliated with a leading healthcare system in eastern TN. The medical center is a tertiary regional referral center for stroke, neurosurgery, orthopedics, oncology, cardiology, neurology, surgery and obstetrics. With a team of more than 350 physicians in 45 specialties and more than 1800 employees through a multi-disciplinary approach to provide comprehensive patient care. The medical center is licensed for 530 beds, 45 emergency room beds and radiology suite within the department, 72 critical care beds that include cardiovascular ICU. Medical surgical ICU and Neuro ICU most with tele ICU capability, 16 surgery suites, 5 cath labs, triage rooms, antepartum suites, labor and delivery suites and mother/baby rooms and rehabilitation hospital. Position is employed with a highly competitive compensation package with generous base salary plus RVU bonus, sign on bonus, relocation assistance, and student loan reimbursement. There is no state income tax, so earnings go farther.
