PRACTICE
SPECIFICS
• Seeking candidates possessing demonstrated
superior clinical cardiology skills in developing and expanding a currently
dynamic practice. Enjoy convenient access between the clinic and hospital for
inpatient and outpatient activities (hospital and clinic located in the same
bldg). The medical center is currently undergoing a multimillion dollar
expansion due to high occupancy and expansion of service.
• Recruitment ongoing to increase from 5 to 7-8
cardiologists. An active coronary, peripheral and non-invasive program also
includes a comprehensive electrophysiology program with new catheterization
laboratory currently being constructed.
• Experience echocardiography staff that
includes pediatric echo for the pediatric and congenital adult cardiology clinic.
Excellent nursing and support personnel in all spectrums of the practice.
• An extraordinarily collaborative relationship
exists with superb cardiovascular surgery program (which comprises complex
valvular, aortic dissections and a mature and highly successful ECMO program)
that includes a surgeon with best outcomes data and highest complexity of
patients in the area.
• 1-6 non-invasive call, 1-3 interventional back
up call rotation
• 4 weeks of vacation DOE and 10 days CME

• BC/BE in Cardiology Special procedures
required TEE
• Nuclear Stress imaging interpretation,
Coronary CT interpretation also a plus.
