Anesthesiologist

Our client in Western Indiana is currently in need of locum tenens Anesthesiologists to join their team.

Requirements:

• Must have cardiac experience
• Need to be experienced and comfortable supervising
• Able to work full time with ongoing availability.
• Comfortable with spinals, epidurals, Ultrasound Guided Regional Anesthesia.

Practice Details:

• Shift Times: M-F, 7a-3p plus call and weekends.
• 3-5 cases per day
• Case mix includes Cardiac, Trauma, General, Ortho, Gyn/OB, some Peds - ENT, some Vascular, Endo, Cath Lab, Cardoversions. 
• No heads, but hearts with TEE and other chest and vascular cases in addition to routine bread and butter cases done on their own. Only 70 hearts in the last year, this CV surgeon also does chest (one lung anesthesia) and vascular. No need to supervise the CRNAs, but be available for consultation on difficult patients.
• Volume, Patient Encounters/Annual Cases/Number or OR rooms: 6 OR
• CRNA will be on 1st call, MD's will be on 2nd call
• Call is 1 : 4 nights plus weekends. 
• Post call off if not, first out.
• CRNA has post call day off, if not off, 1st out
