Company is seeking an Allergist to join our well-established allergy practice. We have four office locations: Glastonbury, Hartford, Meriden, and Ellington CT. We have an experienced team of healthcare and management professionals so that you can focus on providing excellent care to your patients.
The company treats both children and adults. The practice offers a full array of diagnostic and therapeutic services.
Compensation and Benefits for the Allergist
Full-Time position available
Base Salary: $190,000.00 to $225,000.00 /year

Job Description for the Allergist:
Responsible for diagnosing and treating allergic conditions.
Review, evaluate, and document patient medical histories.
Order and evaluate diagnostic tests such as skin pricks, intradermal, or hypersensitivity tests.
Be able to order and perform allergen provocation tests such as food, environmental, and medication challenges.
Assess the risks and benefits of therapies for allergic disorders.
Educate patients about diagnoses, prognoses, and treatments.
Develop individualized treatment plans for patients, considering patient preferences, clinical data, or the risks/benefits of therapies.
Treat patients with appropriate biologicals.
Coordinate the care of patients with other health care professionals.
Able to build a physician-to-physician referral network as part of marketing efforts to expand the patient database.
Engage in self-directed learning and continuing education activities.
Requirements for the Allergist:
Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Allergy & Immunology.
Must be able to see both adult and pediatric populations.
Flexible to provide coverage evening hours and over the weekend.
