About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Board-Certified Allergist/Immunologist to lead the development of a new Allergy & Immunology service line within a growing, physician-led private dermatology group.
This is a unique opportunity for a physician who is entrepreneurial, collaborative, and motivated to build a program from the ground up. You will play a central role in designing clinical workflows, establishing protocols, and integrating allergy services into an already successful dermatology platform with a strong and growing patient base.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build the Allergy & Immunology service line, including clinical structure, workflows, and patient care protocols
- Evaluate and manage allergic and immunologic conditions including asthma, allergic rhinitis, food and drug allergies, urticaria, eczema, and immune deficiencies
- Establish and oversee diagnostic and treatment capabilities (skin testing, patch testing, spirometry, immunotherapy programs, and oral challenges)
- Collaborate closely with dermatology providers to create integrated care pathways, particularly for atopic and inflammatory skin conditions
- Develop referral relationships both internally and within the broader medical community
- Provide guidance on equipment selection, staffing models, and operational setup
- Participate in strategic planning and growth initiatives for the service line
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Allergy & Immunology fellowship
- Board Certified in Allergy & Immunology
- California Medical License or eligibility
- DEA license or eligibility
- Demonstrated interest or experience in program development, service line growth, or practice building strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative, patient-centered approach
